Steve Outram -A Very important member of the team.....well I would be if we were to go to sea as was in the Royal Navy for 11 years!! A Now a rose breeder so could be useful if someone gets a thorn in their finger!! A Been known to break wind occasionally which at about 2:30pm on the actual day is often the tonic we need to laugh again even though we are all wondering what an earth we are doing it for!!! A Getting a bit long in the tooth for Rhino Charge, was 49 in March so about time I let some youngsters have a go, knees not really up to it anymore!! Will see how well I get out of bed on the Monday after the charge this year!!

Johnny Harris - As for me, I am 36 (going on 75 today!) A I have started a company Afriorganic Kenya Ltd which farms Organic herbs and also breeds flower and vegetable seed exporting fromA KenyaA to the EU andA Australia. Located in the marginal lands of northernA Kenya. A I have been with the team as a runner for the last 3 years, enjoying the banter, good humour and skills which this team certainly has. Have been known to run further than need be at 2:30pm which maybe something to do with the gas machine Steve!

Bryn Llewelyn - 38 years old so nearly getting old!! Arable Farmer on the northern slopes of Mt Kenya. Have done the Rhino Charge for the last two years as navigator and thoroughly enjoyed it so far. Hope to still be doing it in 25 years time!! Have prepared the car last year and this year which is very satisfying when it comes together and doesn't let us downA during the Charge.A FeelA lucky to be a part of one of the best teams out there!!!

Gerard Beaton - Also 38 years old, survived my first charge on car 48 last year. Born and brought up in the Masai mara where I run tourist business, fortunate to have one of the best 'offices' in the world. A Being the new boy on the block was fairly clueless last year, but learnt alot and soon realised that I was very fortunate to be invited to join such a talented team (won't expand on those 'talents', though Steve has highlighted his!). In for the fun, hope to win and ultimately to keep helping in anyway possible to protect on of Kenya's greatest eco-systems.

Mark Glen - 32 something, broken nearly every bone in his body...., though none during the Rhino Charge! A The Rhino charge veteran of the team with six plus charges under his belt and consistent top four finishes. A Car 48 driver, known to take it in places most would not even consider. A Spend his time building stunning lodges and houses all over Kenya and soon to be the official son in law of the Rhino Ark Chairman.

Piers Daykin - A early 30's - mechanic extraordinaire, always important in and event such as this! A A regular Rhino Charger and rally navigator, so not phased by much. A Recently involved in starting a new business near Mt. Kenya involving large arable machinery...., huge potential and we hope will be our biggest sponsor next year when he has made it big!

Rob Stowers - 37 year old copper from Yorkshire, living in Newcastle - so you may well ask how I've got roped into a crazy event like this in the middle of the Kenyan bush! I am very honoured to have been asked to temporarily take Steve's place in 2011. I have watched the team's valiant efforts on 2 previous occasions, recording a lot of the action on camera and video. I am hoping my body can stand the strain that I know it will be put under, but am very much looking forward to the challenge and contributing as much as I can to this great team.
